Here at Kappa Kappa Gamma, we see academics as our top priority.  As busy as we are with other activities on campus and in the community, we emphasize and understand the importance of our studies- after all, they are the main reason for our four years here at IWU.  We constantly look for ways to ensure that each woman is reaching her full academic potential and making the most of her time at IWU. We encourage each sister to take pride in her education. We emphasize the importance of studying hard and maintaining a good attendance record.  Our scholarship committee is extremely active in keeping our women on our toes, and Kappas who maintain good grades and overall academic achievements are rewarded with weekly "Smart cookies" at chapter and also rewarded and recognized on a semester basis at our scholarship banquets with gift cards to our favorite stores! We have a database of advice from older girls in the house about their favorite classes and professors. Of course, everyone is more than willing to help one another with everything from trips to the library to words of encouragement.
